MPPSC Mining Officer Announcement 2024- Exam Pattern

Recently, the Commission released “MPPSC Mining Officer Announcement 2024”. According to the announcement, the Commission stated that if we receive more than 500 application forms, we will conduct a written exam. If we receive fewer than 500 applications, we will call the candidates for a direct interview. The Commission recently released the exam pattern for the MPPSC Mining Officer Exam 2023. MPPSC Mining Officer Exam Pattern 2024

• The total duration of the exam would be 3 hours, including Part A or Part B.
• The question paper would be of objective type (multiple choice). For each question, candidates have 4 options to choose the right answer.
• The question paper is divided into two parts, Part A and Part B. Part A covers Specific Madhya Pradesh GK and Current Affairs, while Part B covers Subject-Specific (Geology).
• To qualify for the MPPSC Mining Officer Exam 2023, candidates must score at least 40% in Part A and 40% in Part B.
• There will be negative marking. For each correct answer, 3 marks will be given, and for each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
• The examination will be based on an OMR sheet (offline).
• The question paper will be available in both Hindi and English.

MPPSC Mining Officer Announcement 2024- Selection Process

There are two levels of selection. First, you have to appear in the examination and must qualify with at least 40% marks for each part (Part A and Part B). After the exam, the commission will call you for an interview. The final result is declared after the interview.

Level 1: Qualify the MPPSC Mining Officer Exam 2023

For qualifying or passing the MPPSC Mining Officer Exam 2023, candidates must score a minimum of 40% in Part (A) and a minimum of 40% in Part (B).

Level 2: Interview

If candidates qualify for the MPPSC Mining Officer Exam 2023, the commission will call them for an interview. The interview will be worth 50 marks, and there are no minimum qualifying marks.

Result: Final selection

“If a candidate scores the highest marks in both levels (Written & Interview), it increases their chances of selection.”
