The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) is inviting online applications from eligible candidates for Lecturer position in Architecture (Group-B) within the Higher Education Department (Directorate of Technical Education). A total of 08 positions are available. The online application process begins on November 7, 2024, and the last date to apply is November 27, 2024. Interested candidates can submit their applications through the HPSC official website at https://regn.hpsc.gov.in/lect24/registration. The online application will be made available from 7 November 2024 under the Higher Education Department (Directorate of Technical Education) on HPSC website. Final Online submission of application will be open till 05:00 PM hrs on 27 November 2024.

1. Bachelors and Masters degree in Architecture with First Class either in Bachelors or Masters degree from a recognized
   University/ Institution; and
2. Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subject in Matric or Higher Education

NOTE 1: Candidate should have acquired the UG and PG Degree through regular mode of study from a recognized university/institution.

NOTE 2: A candidate possesses higher qualification in the same line as prescribed in the minimum academic qualifications applicable to a particular posts then he should be considered as eligible of that post.

(A) Screening Test:-

• Total number of MCQs: 100
• Time duration of the exam: 02 hours
• Total Marks: 100
• All questions carry equal marks.
• Each question will have five options (A, B, C, D and E). If a candidate is attempting a question, she/he shall have to darken the appropriate circle A, B, C or D and if not attempting a question then, she/he shall have to darken E circle. If none of the five circles is darkened, one fourth (0.25) mark shall be deducted.
• Any candidate not darkening any of the five circles in more than 10% questions shall be disqualified.
• One-fourth mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• The medium of examination will be English.

(B) Subject Knowledge Test:-

• Time duration of exam: 03 hours
• Total Marks : 150
• The medium of examination will be English.
• The numbers of the candidates to be called for interview will be two times, including bracketed candidates if any, of the number of advertised posts provided that they have secured the minimum cut-off marks of 35%.
• The weightage of the subject knowledge test will be 87.5%.

(C) Interview/Viva-Voce:-

• The weightage of the interview will be l2.5%.
• The final merit list will be prepared by adding the marks of the subject.

The category wise application fee payable through Net Banking, Debit Card and Credit Card upto 05:00 PM of the Closing Date is as under:-

Note l: Fee will not be refunded to those candidates who did not appear in the Recruitment test.

Note 2: Applications without the prescribed fee (unless remission of fee is claimed) shall be summarily rejected.

Note 3: Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.

Official syllabus for Screening test and subject knowledge test for Lecturer in Architecture 2024 is yet to be announced by HPSC. The syllabus is expected to be the same as HPSC recruitment for lecturer in architecture (2021-22). STEP 1:

• Profile Registration is mandatory for applying against the advertisement for Lecturers in Higher Education Department.
• Candidates may register using their PPP ID/Adhaar Number/Mobile Number.
• Candidate registering using PPP ID/Adhaar Number should ensure that the Mobile Number and Email ID provided in the PPP Data Base/Adhaar Data Base is valid /in-use.
• Mobile number is validated by OTP.

STEP 2:

• The Candidate needs to login and fill all the required fields in the registration form after sign up.
• Upload Passport size Photograph: – (Only JPG, JPEG, and PNG files are allowed. The file size must be less than 500 KB, and the dimensions should range from (132px * 170px) to (160px * 204px) ).
• Upload Signature: – (Only JPG, JPEG, and PNG files are allowed. The file size must be less than 500 KB, and the dimensions should range from (132px*57px) to (160px*68px) ).
• Before submission of the online registration form, candidate can preview his/her registration form.

STEP 3:

• During the registration process only the basic details of the candidate would be captured.
• After completion of the registration process, candidate can apply for advertisement using his/her login ID.
• Candidates would have to provide further details as per the requirements of advertisement they wish to apply for. After filling in the requisite details of the advertisement, candidates would have to make payment of the fee mentioned in the advertisement.
• Click on proceed to payment button to complete your payment (as applicable).
• Payment of the fee is made only through online mode (e-payment).
