The School of Planning and Architecture Vijayawada invites applications online for the Faculty Positions purely on contract basis as per the following terms and conditions:

1. These posts are purely temporary in nature and will be purely on contract basis, initially for a tenure of six months, extendable from time to time, depending on requirement and satisfactory performance of the candidates.

2. The Consolidated Remuneration will be Rs.55,000/- pm for those possessing P.G. Degree and Rs.65,000/- pm for those possessing Ph.D Degree.

3. The engagements will be for the Department of Planning starting from the Academic Session 2022-23 and the specializations are detailed below:

a. M. Plan (Transport Planning) 02 Posts

b. M. Plan ( Urban and Regional Planning) 02 Posts

c. M. Plan (Environmental Planning) 01 Post

4. Candidates should be possessing a Bachelors Degree in Architecture / Planning / Technology / Engineering AND Masters Degree in Planning with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Masters Degree OR Masters Degree in Economics/Geography/Sociology AND a Masters Degree in Planning with First Class or equivalent in BOTH the two Masters degrees.

5. Equivalence of First Class is a minimum of 60% in aggregate, if a class or division is not awarded.

6. Desirable:

i) ONE (01) year experience in teaching and / or research and / or industry in a reputed organization;

ii) Specialization in Transport Planning, Urban and Regional Planning and Environmental Planning at PG level of M. Plan.

iii) Papers presented at Conferences and/or referred journals.
