Online applications are invited from the intending eligible candidates who are citizens of India having Registration Number in Employment Exchange in the State of Assam for filling up the following vacancies as indicated below in the O/o Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority, STATFED Building, GMCH Road, Bhangagarh, Guwahati-05
Name of Post: Assistant Architect
Number of vacancies: 1 (OBC /MOBC)
Essential Qualification: B. Arch. / Equivalent from a recognized university.
Pay Band: Rs. 30,000 – 1,10,000/-
Grade Pay: Rs. 12,700/-
Age: Maximum age should be 38 years on the 1st January of the year of recruitment (Age relaxation will be given as per state Govt. Rules).
Work Experience: 1-year work experience in respective fields of specialization in Govt. or Non Govt. Sector (within permanent / contractual capacity).
Department and Duty Station: O/o Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority, STATFED Building, GMCH Road, Bhangagarh, Guwahati-05.
Application fee: a) Rs. 250/- for SC/ST category candidate. b) Rs. 500/- for all other category candidate. Mode of Selection: There shall be two phases in the selection process:
Phase- I: The Candidates whose applications are accepted will be required to appear in an objective type written test to be held in Guwahati on a date to be notified later on in websitegmda.niyuktiportal.in The syllabus of the Objective Type Written Test will be as follows:
Phase - II: Against each vacancy, 3 candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the marks obtained in the written test. After the written test, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear in a Personal Interview to be held in Guwahati. Total marks for the Personal Interview will be 20 Marks.
Note: The decision of Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate for admission to the examination shall be final.
